Our design process includes an initial visit where we will establish your requirements and we will set a brief for structural design and specifications to follow. We will guide you through the process and assist you in the selection of the most economic and robust materials to achieve the desired layout that will comply fully with building regulations.
We will develop a structural design calculation package in addition to technical drawings and specifications ready to be submitted to building control for approval and details will be drafted to help the construction works. Our deliverables will comprise a set of general arrangement and detail drawings together with a set of structural design calculations. These will be suitable for your submission to the Local Authority for their review under Part A (Structure) of the Building Regulations and the contractor's construction purposes. When work is completed to our satisfaction a Completion Certificate is issued within 5 working days. A completion certificate is a valuable document which will help when it comes time to sell the property in the future.
